Welcome to Louisville Kentucky! Well guys, I made it. I’m now in Louisville and have to say so far I really like it. The city is big enough that you can just about anything you want to do, and its small enough that you don’t feel like you are in an overcrowded town – seems like a pretty good match so far. 
And before everyone asks: No, I didn’t get here in time for the Kentucky Derby. Its held the first weekend in May – so I’ll definitely make a point of catching it next year. (It really sounds like a fun time!)
Right now I’m getting settled in and am making good progress on figuring my way out around the town and what not – and I’m actually making some new friends along the way. We’ve already gone out a few times, and I have to say I’m really starting to like my new digs.
The downtown Louisville area has apparently been renovated and updated and is a great place to hang out on the weekends with friends. Anyway, gotta jet – will post an update once I get settled in.
